Terms of use:

+ You must only present accurate information on your member profile. Any information that is inaccurate, offensive or involves advertising may be removed.

+ You must ensure your profile picture is appropriate; profiles with inappropriate images will be removed.

+ Do not share your password with anyone else in your organisation or log into and post under someone else’s account.

+ Offensive material or issues relating to another member must be reported as soon as possible to info@globalconnections.org.uk.

+ Please abide by the following rules when posting content or interacting with other users:

+ You must only post or upload material that belongs to your organisation, that you have consent from the copyright owner for, or that you know is already in the public domain – do not copy and paste material from other websites. Uploaded material must not include any personal or sensitive information that could breach GDPR.

+ Resources must not be downloaded from the hub and then published on third party websites, in the public domain, or shared with or distributed to other organisations/individuals who are not network members.

+ No inappropriate advertising, selling or soliciting is allowed.

+ No bulk messages, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or repeat postings of the same message are permitted.

+ Treat other users and handle disagreements with courtesy and respect, and do not engage in personal vendettas.

+ Do not name people you may have a disagreement with or allow identification of those people by inference. Do not threaten, or harass anyone, directly or indirectly. Doing so will lead to a warning or being banned from the site.

+ Do not post offensive comments or material. You agree not to post anything which is false, vulgar, obscene, sexually oriented, invading someone's privacy, or otherwise in violation of ANY law. Do not use ethnic slurs or hate speech. Do not libel or defame others. Do not use any profanity.

+ The following items will not be accepted by Global Connections as news items or on other places on the site:

+ Prayer requests for projects or ministry – please submit any prayer requests you may have through

your organisation’s account page on the Global Connections main website here.

GDPR Agreement:

By using this networking hub, you agree that the platform can collect the following personal data about you:

Forename and Surname – We want to build meaningful relationships with others across the network. It is therefore important that our members can be identified by their real name.

Your postcode – This site makes extensive use of your location to give you a personalised experience and show you members and offers that you are more likely to be interested in. For this we required that you give us your postcode.

Your company – The more information you put in your profile the more likely members will want to connect with you.

Posting – By posting on our platform, your comments and a limited profile becomes publicly available to other users.

Your profile – Your name, bio (we recommend including your job title here if relevant), picture, membership type, organisation's name, location and URL, will all remain visible to other members, but other personal details will stay hidden. Other users can send you direct messages through the hub which you can respond to if you wish to connect with them.
